He admitted: We also had direct and constant contact with the Ukrainians. That’s all I can say about this (attack) which is still going on!
Earlier, EU foreign policy official Joseph Borrell also said that “Kiev had the full support of the European Union for the attack on Kursk.”
Washington and Brussels had previously responded to the media’s questions about developments in Kursk, with general statements in support of Ukraine and not changing their policy.
John Kirby, the spokesman for the National Security Council of the White House, said on Friday: “We are in contact with our Ukrainian counterparts and we are cooperating to better understand the developments and their goals and strategy.” We do, and it is better to have some time to contact and communicate with them before explaining the situation”.
On the same day, America unveiled another military aid package worth 125 million dollars for Ukraine. Also, US Republican Senator Lidsey Graham went to Kiev on Monday and described the attack on Kursk as “courageous and beautiful” and praised it. He also asked the retired Western pilots to register in the Ukrainian Air Force and fight against Russia with the F-16 fighters sent by NATO to Kiev!
In the Ukrainian attack on Kursk, at least 12 civilians were killed and 121 others were injured. Of course, the Ukrainian forces have admitted significant casualties in a conversation with the Western media. Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized on Monday that the country’s forces are advancing faster in a real sense, and that the registration of new forces has also increased due to the Battle of Kursk.
