Mahmoud Abbas said: America is obstructing in every possible way the decisions related to the recognition of Palestine in the international arena, and in this way even the resolutions approved by the United Nations It also goes around.

He added: Since 1947, thousands of resolutions have been issued about Palestine and none of the decisions have been implemented! The General Assembly has issued about 750 and the Security Council about 80 resolutions, and the Human Rights Committee has issued the rest. In my speech at the Security Council, I said that “You are the highest authority in the world, but if you do not implement your decisions, where should I turn? To the sky?”

The head of the Palestinian Authority added: For example, Resolution 2334 was approved in 2016. All member countries of the Security Council voted in favor, even the United States did not oppose and only abstained, and then Donald Trump took office and canceled this decision!
