Intense physical conflict in the Turkish parliament + video

Representatives of the Justice and Development Party clashed with members of the Labor Party and People's Equality and Democracy Party in the public hall of the Turkish Parliament.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik news agency, following the holding of an extraordinary session of the Turkish Parliament to review the status of “Jan Atalay”, one of the elected representatives of the people who is in prison, a conflict between the representatives of the Justice and Development Party and the members of the party Labor as well as the People’s Equality and Democracy Party took place.

After this conflict, the tension in the Turkish parliament increased and the representatives got into a fight.

In this meeting, it was supposed to be about the decision to cancel the representation of John Atalay, which was rejected and illegal by the Constitutional Court, and no effective arrangements were made for this decision; be discussed.

Jan Atalay was elected to the parliament by the people of Hatay and represented by the Turkish Labor Party in the recent parliamentary elections.

Atalay was tried in the “Gezi Park” case court due to his legal activities in this field and accused of activities against national security, and was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2022.
