Jan Atalay was elected to the parliament by the people of Hatay and represented by the Turkish Labor Party in the recent parliamentary elections.
Atalay was tried in the “Gezi Park” case court due to his legal activities in this field and accused of activities against national security, and was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2022.
