The US foreign minister will visit the occupied territories tomorrow
The US State Department announced that Anthony Blinken will travel to the occupied territories tomorrow Saturday as part of diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The US State Department added that during his visit to the occupied territories, Blinken will emphasize the importance of all parties’ commitment to refrain from escalating tensions and any action that weakens the chance of reaching an agreement.
This ministry also announced that the proposal put forward by the US with the support of Egypt and Qatar includes a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the sending of humanitarian aid to this strip and the release of Israeli prisoners.
