An active volcano in Russia erupted/Earthquake warning of magnitude 9 within the next 24 hours
According to Mehr News Agency to According to the Associated Press, the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that recently shook eastern Russia led to the eruption of the active Shivelosh volcano in this country.
The Geophysics Office of the Russian Academy of Sciences announced on Saturday night that an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 on the Richter scale occurred near the coast of Kamchatka in the east of this country.
Following this strong earthquake, Russia issued a tsunami and volcanic eruption warning, and today the Geological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences announced by publishing images that the Shivulosh volcano has erupted.
In the pictures, the height of smoke and ash coming out of the crater reaches five kilometers. The eruption of this volcano caused the Russian Aviation Organization to issue a “red code” for airplanes for a short time.
