Accordingly, the price of each ounce of gold today decreased by 0.22% to $2,502 and 44 cents. The price of gold futures on the Comex market of New York has reached $2,543 with an increase of 0.20%.
Among other precious metals, silver rose 0.70 percent to $29.47 and platinum traded up 0.10 percent to $958.17.
