General Hamidti threatened to escalate the tension/ deadlock in the Geneva talks

General Hamidti, the commander of Sudan's rapid support forces, threatened to prevent the Sudanese army from taking over the country's affairs with new measures.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Mohammad Hamdan Daghlo announced that he will adopt new options to deal with the non-participation of “army generals” in the Geneva talks.

It should be said; The Geneva talks, which have been on their sixth day since Monday, have progressed without significant success, and the absence of the army and their non-participation, due to the non-fulfillment of demands, has caused a lack of progress in the negotiations.

Meanwhile, the Governing Council announced that the Port Sudan-based government had sent a delegation to Cairo to meet with US Special Representative Tom Pirillo. This action was carried out based on contacts with the American and Egyptian governments, and its purpose is to examine the view of the Sudanese government regarding the implementation of the Jeddah Agreement.
