Putin’s visit to the Chechen officer academy/”We are invincible with you”

The President of Russia and his counterpart in the autonomous region of Chechnya visited the forces of this region who are preparing for the battle in Ukraine.

According to Mehr News Agency to Quoting from Al Jazeera, Russian President Vladimir Putin, together with Ramzan Kadyrov, his counterpart in the autonomous region of Chechnya, visited the Chechen forces who are preparing for the war in Ukraine at the same time as Ukraine’s surprise attack on the Kursk border region of Russia.

This is Putin’s first visit to this region located in the North Caucasus since 2011. Putin’s surprise visit to Chechnya comes in the midst of Moscow’s efforts to expel Ukrainian forces from the Kursk region; An attack that is considered the biggest violation of Russian territory since the Second World War.

During this visit, Putin addressed the soldiers at the Russian Special Forces Officer University and said: As long as we have men like you, we will never fail. There is a difference between shooting in the shooting range and dying on the battlefield, but you have the courage to defend the motherland.

Kiev’s entry into Russia from the northern border of Ukraine started two weeks ago, and this country, with the unofficial cooperation of NATO, has destroyed Moscow’s logistical bridges in this area and has caused problems for the Russian army.

Kadyrov, who always describes himself as Putin’s “foot soldier”, as one of his main allies who is also under US sanctions, announced to the Russian president in a separate meeting that Chechnya since the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022. It has sent more than 47,000 troops, including about 19,000 volunteers, to Ukraine.
