18 killed and wounded in an attack on Pakistani police forces

An ambush by militants against police forces in Pakistan's Punjab left 11 dead and 7 injured.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Al Jazeera, armed militants in Pakistan killed and injured a number of people by attacking the armed forces of this country.

Accordingly, local authorities announced: armed militias using RP G and other weapons targeted a convoy of police forces in Pakistan’s Punjab region during an ambush. During this attack, at least 11 police officers lost their lives and 7 others were injured.

Police forces were on patrol to find robbers in Punjab region when they were caught in an ambush by militants. After attacking a car with RP G and stopping it, the militias took action To escalate, they fired at the police car convoy.

Shahbar Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, condemning the attack of militants on police forces, called Decisive and immediate action was taken against the perpetrators of this bloody attack.

So far, no person or group has claimed responsibility for this attack.
