The price of gold per ounce increased by 1.12% to $2,512 and 59 cents today.
reported by Mehr News Agency, the decline in the value of the US dollar and the yield of the country’s treasury bonds following the statements of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell regarding the interest rate reduction September sent gold prices up more than 1% on Friday.
Accordingly, the price of gold per ounce increased by 1.12% to $2,512 and 59 cents today. The price of gold futures in the Comex market of New York has reached $2,546 and 30 cents with an increase of 1.18%.
Among other precious metals, silver price rose by 2.66% to $30.26 cents, and platinum traded at $965.62 cents with a 1.73% increase.
