An explosion outside a synagogue in southern France injured a police officer.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency According to Reuters, an explosion outside a synagogue in southern France left one person injured.
According to the authorities, the explosion happened after two cars outside the Beth Yaacov Synagogue. They were set on fire. The cause of the explosion was the presence of a hidden bottle containing a flammable substance in one of the cars.
French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin described the incident as a “clearly criminal act”. He wrote on the X channel that the French police are searching for the perpetrators of this explosion with all their might.
The injured police officer was taken to the hospital and it is said that his injuries are not dangerous.
