The participation of more than 21 million pilgrims in this year’s Arbaeen ceremony

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, quoting from Otba Abbasi information base, the guardianship of Astan Quds, Hazrat Abbas (PBUH), announced the total number of Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims in 1446 AH.

Astan Quds Abbasi announced that 21,480,525 pilgrims attended this year’s Arbaeen in Iraq.

This is while the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (AS) gathered in Karbala on the day of Arbaeen and mourned.

The other news is that the Baghdad Governorate announced in a statement: Based on the decision of the Baghdad Provincial Council and considering the great efforts made by the staff of this governorate in providing services in The Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussain (AS), and with the continuation of the Arbaeen pilgrims’ return services, the governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, ordered the provincial offices to be closed tomorrow, Monday.

In the said statement, it is stated that this shutdown includes all related offices and institutions of this governorate.
