The official of the Chinese Foreign Ministry continued in this connection: During the visit to Beijing, Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser of the White House, expressed his concern about the issue of Taiwan to the United States and made demands. We will raise Beijing’s seriousness in this regard.
The official of the Chinese Foreign Ministry added: Among the other issues that are going to be discussed with Jake Sullivan is the issue of tariffs applied by Washington. China’s strategic security will also be discussed in the said meeting.
“Mao Ning”, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, announced on Saturday this week that “Jake Sullivan”, the National Security Adviser of the White House, from August 27 to 29 (6 to 8 September ) will travel to Beijing to consult with senior Chinese officials about strategic issues between the United States and China.
The visit of the National Security Adviser of the US Government is done at the invitation of Wang Yi, the Foreign Minister of the Chinese Government and a member of the Political Bureau and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
