Canada imposes a 100% tariff on the import of Chinese electric cars
After the US government and the European Union, the Canadian government also announced that it will impose a 100% tariff on the import of electric cars made in China.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Rashatudi, the Canadian government announced by publishing a statement that it will impose a 100% tariff on the import of electric cars made in China.
This decision of the Canadian government was made after the meeting between Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser of the American government, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The Prime Minister of Canada also announced that he will impose a 25% tariff on Chinese steel and aluminum imports.
Previously, China had taken action against Chinese electric cars by the American government and the European Union Commission.
