According to Mehr News Agency to According to CGTV, Jake Sullivan, the national security advisor of the White House, who was on his way to China for a three-day trip, arrived in Beijing today.
According to this media, the parties will hold a new round of negotiations on the strategic relations between China and the United States during this trip.
Mao Ning, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday that Sullivan will travel to Beijing from August 27 to 29 (6 to 8 September) to consult with senior Chinese officials about strategic issues between the United States and China.
This Chinese media called Sullivan’s visit to Beijing “an important step” in the direction of implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of China and the United States at the November meeting of the parties in San Francisco.
This is the first time in the last eight years that the National Security Adviser of the White House has visited China, and it is mentioned as the basis for holding another summit between Joe Biden and Xi Jinping, the presidents of the United States and China, respectively.
