The Minister of Interior of Venezuela, pointing out that the country's national electricity system has been the target of a terrorist attack, strongly condemned this action.

reported by Mehr News Agency, Diosdado Cabio, Minister of Interior of Venezuela in a conversation with VTV TV channel said that the country’s national electricity system was targeted by a terrorist attack. Cabio accused the Venezuelan opposition of this terrorist act.

Cabio said: The National Electricity Service was targeted by a terrorist attack last night, and this terrorist act in the states of Tachira, Merida, Barinas, Zulia, Falcon, Nova Sparta and covers parts of Guira, Miranda and Caracas (the capital of Venezuela) placed.

He emphasized: This is one of the strategies that the opposition currents use in an attempt to influence the society. . We warn people to please report any unusual conditions and don’t hesitate, we will take immediate action.

According to him, security agencies have been dispatched along with employees of the National Electricity Company, and services have been restored to normal in several areas.

He added: Our response to those who incite violence and terrorist acts and target public services will be severe.
