Vandalism in Venezuela’s power grid/Many areas went blackout

Government sources in Venezuela reported blackouts in most areas of the country due to sabotage.

Venezuela’s Minister of Communications and Information Freddy Nunez said: “We have once again become a victim of sabotage in the power grid.”

He told the state-run VTV channel: At 4:40 a.m. this Friday local time, there was sabotage in the Venezuelan electricity network, and this sabotage was against the network. It is a national electricity that affected almost the entire country and we saw a partial or complete power cut in 24 provinces of the country. Those involved are trying to connect the electricity.

This Venezuelan minister announced: No one can disrupt the stability and peace of the Venezuelan people.
