The FBI has failed to deal with child sexual abuse
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency According to the Associated Press, the internal watchdog of the US Department of Justice announced in its latest report that the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI) of this country even after the controversial case of “Larry Nassar” who is accused of “harassing and sexually abusing girls” America still fails to report allegations of sexual abuse of children to government institutions and social organizations.
In 2021, the US Department of Justice Inspector General announced that the FBI had learned that former team doctor Larry Nassar In 2015, US girls gymnastics was accused of harassing team members, but did not take any action, and following the FBI’s inattention, this doctor continued to sexually abuse American girls for months.
Christopher Wray, the head of the FBI in the US Congress, condemned the behavior of the agents of the agency under his command and emphasized that ” What happened is unacceptable” and promised that this behavior will not be repeated.
