Detention of Colombian mercenaries suspected of participating in combat operations in Ukraine

In the statement issued by the Federal Security Organization of Russia, it is stated that these people are named Aranda Jose Aron and Ante Alexander.

Russia’s Federal Security Service added: The men were detained after they had documents confirming their illegal actions. In addition, a Ukrainian military uniform containing the symbols of the extremist nationalist battalion “Carpathian Sich” was with them.

According to the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo, these two Colombians were arrested in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, and handed over to Russia.
