The Prime Minister of New Zealand announced today that he wants an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to Mehr News Agency to According to Reuters news agency, New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Luxon announced on Monday that he wants an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand said in this regard: I request the establishment of an immediate ceasefire, bringing the parties to the negotiating table and finding a two-state solution (in the occupied Palestinian territories).

This is while Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had previously announced that the only hope for a ceasefire in Gaza is for America to adopt a stronger position.

Reuters quoted the Prime Minister of Malaysia as saying that reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza is unlikely due to the non-commitment of some countries, especially the United States.

“Anwar Ibrahim” added that the only hope for a ceasefire in Gaza is the adoption of a stronger position by America.
