Earthquake in Nuristan, Afghanistan
reported by Mehr News Agency According to Oqaf news agency, news sources have reported that a strong earthquake shook parts of Nuristan located in Afghanistan at around 10:00 a.m. this Monday, local time.
Meanwhile, the US Geological Survey announced that this 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred 80 kilometers northwest of Paron in Nuristan.
So far, there is no information about possible casualties and damage from this earthquake.
The information of the US Geological Survey shows that this earthquake occurred at a depth of 132 km.
This is despite the fact that recently several earthquakes have shaken different regions of Afghanistan, especially Badakhshan.
In one of the latest cases, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 occurred on Saturday (10th of Shahrivar month) in 40 km of Ashkashim city, Badakhshan province.
