Russia is ready to implement peaceful nuclear projects with Mongolia
reported by Mehr News Agency According to the Rianost news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Tuesday at the end of the talks with his Mongolian counterpart: Russia is ready to implement peaceful nuclear projects with Mongolia.
The President of Russia continued: Trade and investment relations between Russia and Mongolia were given special attention in the negotiations held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of this country.
Putin added: cooperation between Russia and Mongolia in the field of gas has prospects; The possibility of supplying Russian gas to consumers in Mongolia is being investigated. The positions of Russia and Mongolia are close on many international issues.
Vladimir Putin further added: Russia and Mongolia help to ensure security in Asia by cooperating in the field of combating terrorism and military-technical cooperation.
Putin’s visit to Mongolia is important because this country is one of the members of the International Criminal Court. In March last year, this court issued an arrest warrant for the President of Russia, accusing him of war crimes for illegally emigrating hundreds of Ukrainian children from this country and transferring them to Russia. The Kremlin has strongly denied these accusations and called them influenced by political motives.
