Bolivia’s strong interest in joining BRICS
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, Mrs. Celinda Sosa Lunda, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, announced this Wednesday her country’s strong interest in joining BRICS.
He added: Bolivia has great interest and strong motivation to join BRICS. We hope that Bolivia will get the necessary help in this field.
Bolivian Foreign Minister emphasized: Bolivian President Luis Arce has accepted the invitation to attend the BRICS meeting in Kazan, Russia, and emphasized his participation in it.
It should be said that Bolivia has already requested to join BRICS. The BRICS meeting will be held on October 22-24 in Kazan, Russia.
Five countries, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Egypt, became full members of the BRICS group on January 1. Now it is called “BRICS Plus”.
The BRICS group was founded in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India and China, while South Africa joined the bloc in 2011 and this year Russia is the chairman. He is in charge of the BRICS+ course.
