In this statement, Egypt and Turkey wanted to increase the number of countries that recognize the state of Palestine. They once again demanded the end of the occupation of Palestine.
The officials of these two countries emphasized that they support the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their land.
They also announced about the Gaza Strip that a permanent ceasefire should be established in this area as soon as possible and the prisoners should be released. Also, the process of sending humanitarian aid to this barricade should resume without any obstacles. In this joint statement, Turkey and Egypt emphasized their readiness to cooperate in improving the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and expressed concern about the illegal actions of the Zionist regime in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
It should be mentioned that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Turkey yesterday after 12 years on an official visit.
