Turkish attacks on northern Iraq

Although more details about the casualties and damages of Turkey’s attack on northern Iraq have not yet been released, Ankara officials hours before the killing of 27 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) ) had reported in the attacks of this country.
Turkey has been fighting separatist groups since 1984, especially the Kurdistan Workers’ Party led by Abdullah Ocalan. During this period, tens of thousands of people have been killed or injured in this way.
Ankara has a long history of targeting PKK positions in northern Iraq, especially the Sulaymaniyah region. On several occasions, Turkey has even sent its ground forces into Iraq and targeted locations in the north of this country.
