India test-fired a ballistic missile

India’s Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that the country successfully tested an intermediate-range ballistic missile called “Agni-4”.
New Delhi is also working on a new type of ballistic missile that can be launched from submarines, according to the Indian ministry.
In a statement by the Ministry of Defense of India, the successful launch of an intermediate-range ballistic missile, Agni-4, took place on September 6, 2024. In this launch, all operational and technical parameters were successfully provided.
According to the announcement of this ministry, the Agni-6 missile with a range of 10,000 kilometers and the ability to launch from a submarine is also being developed.
