Fuel tanker and truck accident in Nigeria/ 48 people died

At least 48 people were killed when a fuel tanker collided with a truck in central Nigeria.

According to Mehr News Agency to According to Reuters, at least 48 people died after a fuel tanker collided with a truck carrying passengers and livestock in the center of Nigeria.

Emergency Organization of Niger State in Nigeria announced that the accident occurred at midnight on Sunday and resulted in an explosion that engulfed both vehicles.

Referring to the death of at least 48 people in the accident, the Director General of the Niger Emergency Organization said that rapid response and rescue teams have been sent to the scene.

Also, according to him, several other cars caught fire in this incident. According to local media, the victims of this accident will be buried en masse.

The explosion of fuel tankers in Nigeria is a common occurrence due to the poor condition of the roads in Nigeria.
