Chinese Foreign Minister goes to Russia

The BRICS summit will be held from October 22 to 24 in Kazan, Russia; Iran has officially joined BRICS since January 1, 2024.
Kazem Jalali, Tehran’s ambassador to Moscow, in an interview with “Tass” on Saturday, announcing the presence of Iran’s President Masoud Medeshkian at the BRICS summit in Kazan, said that Medeshkian intends to to meet with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia during this trip.
Jalali stated: He (doctors) will participate in the BRICS summit in Kazan. We are currently preparing plans to make this trip useful and successful for our bilateral relations (Iran and Russia).
He added: Regarding bilateral relations, I must say that a meeting with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, is planned. Also, bilateral meetings with other leaders as well as resident Iranians and a speech at the (BRICS) summit are in the program.
Russia has assumed the rotating presidency of the BRICS group since January 1, 2024, and will hold this seat until the end of the year by holding more than 200 events and a wide range of topics.
The main event of the Russian presidency is the BRICS summit in Kazan, which will be held in October 2024. The Islamic Republic of Iran officially joined BRICS on January 1, 2024.
There is also a possibility of signing a comprehensive cooperation agreement between Iran and Russia on the sidelines of this summit.
