Voting in the United Nations about the end of the occupation of Palestinian lands

The UN General Assembly plans to vote on the draft resolution presented to end the occupation of Palestinian lands by the Zionist regime within six months.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the group of Arab countries in the United Nations, together with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, asked the General Assembly of this organization about the draft resolution presented to end the occupation. The Zionist regime should vote on Palestinian lands within six months.

While in this advisory ruling, the need for the withdrawal of the Zionist regime as soon as possible is emphasized in the draft of the Palestinian side, a six-month timetable is presented.

The voting process in the UN General Assembly, which has 193 members, will take place on August 18. It is true that voting in the UN General Assembly is not binding, but it weakens the image of the Zionist regime from a political point of view.
