A military court in the Democratic Republic of Congo sentenced 2 American citizens to death for participating in the failed coup d'état of this country.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency According to Reuters, a military court in the Democratic Republic of Congo sentenced two American citizens to death for participating in the failed coup in this country.

These two American citizens are accused of participating in the failed coup a few months ago led by Christian Malanga, a Congolese politician based in America; Congolese security forces later killed Malanga.

Malanga’s son, who is an American citizen sentenced to death, had previously told the military court that his father had threatened him if he did not participate in the coup. It kills him.

This military court also sentenced 2 American citizens to death for participating in the failed coup.

On May 30 of this year, the army of the Democratic Republic of Congo announced the failed coup and announced in a statement: The coup and the attempt to gain power in Congo failed and all the coup plotters were arrested.

On the other hand, one of the spokespersons of the army of the Democratic Republic of the Congo said in a televised speech that the country’s armed forces thwarted a coup with the cooperation of foreign forces and people from the Congo today (Sunday).

At the same time, local sources in Congo reported that three people were killed in a clash between uniformed men and bodyguards of a politician in Kinshasa.
