According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr news agency quoted by CNN, “Diosdado Cabello”, the Minister of Interior of Venezuela, in an interview with the state television of this country, announced that the security forces of Venezuela 6 foreign nationals, including 3 Americans, 2 Spaniards and one They arrested people from the Czech Republic who planned to assassinate Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
According to Cabello, the detained people were part of the plan of the American Intelligence Organization (CIA) to overthrow the Venezuelan government and assassinate the president and some senior members of the government.
Venezuela’s Minister of Interior further added that one of the arrested Americans is named “Wilbert Joseph Castanda Gomez”, who is a former Marine of the US Army and was previously in the Afghanistan war. He has been present in Iraq and Colombia’s conflicts.
The US State Department released a statement confirming the arrest of a member of the US military in Venezuela and added about two other American citizens that “we are aware of unconfirmed reports about two other citizens detained in Venezuela.”
Venezuela’s Ministry of Interior announced a few hours before the seizure of a large shipment of American weapons for chaos and disorder in this country.

Reuters reported in this regard, citing the US State Department, that the White House announced that the arrest of an American citizen on the charge of subversion against Nicolas Maduro, the president of this country, is a “false claim”.
