Egypt’s support for Somalia and the security of the Red Sea
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Rashatoudi, the Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the necessity of solving the crises between the two countries of Somalia and Ethiopia.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati on the common views between Egypt and Eritrea on the security of the Red Sea and support for the unity of Somalia and the training of its army as well as the unity of the Sudanese government. and supported its institutions.
About his trip to Eritrea, he emphasized that Egypt always maintains close relations with its brothers. According to the Egyptian Foreign Minister, this meeting was held in the framework of continuous and mutual communication between the two countries and senior officials and in sensitive circumstances considering the challenges facing the region and the African continent.
Egyptian Foreign Minister stressed that Egypt and Eritrea are pillars of stability in the region.
He further said regarding the crisis between Somalia and Ethiopia that Cairo supports Somalia, its stability, preservation of territorial integrity and security of the Red Sea.
