Continued support of NATO to Ukraine/$40 billion loan on the way to Kiev
reported by Mehr News Agency, an English newspaper announced that European Union members intend to allocate a new financial package to support the Ukrainian army to Kiev soon.
The Financial Times newspaper, citing sources, disclosed that the European Union intends to provide a 40 billion dollar loan to Ukraine in installments by the end of this year.
The European Union had previously agreed to allocate a 50 billion euro loan to Ukraine until 2027 from the profits of Russia’s frozen assets.
Also, Joseph Burrell, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy said at the informal meeting of the defense ministers of the EU member states that “Today our military support to Ukraine has reached more than 43 billion euros.”
According to TASS news agency, Borrell also emphasized in this meeting that EU countries should send military aid to Accelerate Ukraine.
