The Zionist regime’s fear of the UN meeting regarding Palestine
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Al Jazeera, today Wednesday the UN General Assembly will hold a meeting to vote on a draft Palestinian resolution to oblige the Zionist regime to adhere to international laws.
This resolution asks the Zionist regime to adhere to its legal obligations, including those mentioned in the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, based on international law, which This issue has angered this regime.
This draft strongly condemns the continued disregard of the Zionist regime to its obligations and states that such violations are a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.
Palestinians want the UN member states to support their freedom by issuing a resolution that calls for the end of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories within the next 12 months.

This draft resolution is based on the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice which was issued last July at the request of the General Assembly. In this vote, it was emphasized that the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime since 1967 is “illegal”.
The highest judicial authority of the United Nations has also stated that “Israel is obliged to end its illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territories as soon as possible.”
Based on this vote, the Arab countries called for a special session of the General Assembly, a few days before dozens of heads of state and government are expected to participate in the opening of the annual session.
