The decree of the President of Russia states: The number of Russian armed forces will increase by 2,389,130 people, which includes 1,500,000 military personnel.
Previously, in December 2023, Russia increased the level of personnel of its armed forces. At that time, the number of employees of the Russian Armed Forces reached 2,209,130 people, which included 1,320,000 service personnel.
