The UN resolution affirmed the right of the Palestinians

Yesterday, Wednesday, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously approved the resolution on the need to end the occupation and the illegal existence of Israel in the Palestinian territories.
Quds Al-Akhbariya website wrote in a report about this: The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for the end of Israel’s “illegal presence” in the occupied Palestinian territories within 12 months.
124 countries voted for this resolution, 14 countries voted against and 43 countries abstained.
This high positive vote was obtained while the representative of the United States in the United Nations asked the member states of the United Nations General Assembly to vote against this resolution.
This resolution stipulates that the occupying government must end its illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territories without delay, within a maximum period of 12 months from the date of the decision.
The Zionist regime captured the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem in the 1967 war, and since then has increasingly expanded settlement construction in these areas. In the current situation, the UN resolution also refers to the need to end Israel’s occupation in these areas.
