Erdogan: I am ready to meet with “Bashar Assad” / I am waiting for Damascus to answer
The Turkish president announced that he is ready to meet with his Syrian counterpart in order to normalize relations between Damascus and Ankara.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, Rajab Tyeb Erdogan, the President of Turkey announced this Saturday that Ankara is working towards the normalization of relations between Turkey and Syria have announced their desire to meet with their Syrian counterpart, Bashar Assad, and are now waiting for Damascus’s response.
Erdogan announced his desire to meet Bashar Assad in his press conference in Istanbul, before traveling to New York to participate in the UN General Assembly meetings.
