According to Mehr News Agency, according to Rashatoudi, thousands of French people protested the action of French President Emmanuel Macron to elect Michel Barnier as the new prime minister. The streets came and chanted against the new president and prime minister.
Protesters believe that Macron should resign and consider the election of Barnier as an “undemocratic coup” and “theft of elections.”
People protesting in the streets of France are worried that Michel Barnier will form a government dominated and controlled by right-wing politicians and or people close to Macron.
In the middle of September, Macron obliged Michel Barnier to form a new cabinet. Michel Barnier, the chief negotiator of the European Union in Brexit affairs, has now been introduced as the person responsible for the formation of the new cabinet in France.
This act of Macron took place two months after announcing the dissolution of parliament and 50 days after the resignation of the French Prime Minister. Since then, France has been in an unprecedented political crisis.
