Trump: If I lose to Harris, I will not run again

The 78-year-old Trump, as the Republican candidate for six consecutive terms, has made many changes in the party during eight years.
In response to the question of whether he will run for president again if he loses to Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate in the November 5 election, he said: No, I won’t. This is the last time. I will not be nominated under any circumstances.
However, he claimed a possible victory in the November election, adding that “fortunately, we are going to be very, very successful.” According to the US Constitution, presidents cannot serve more than two terms (eight years) in the Oval Office of the White House, which means that if Trump wins the November election, he will not be able to run for re-election anyway.
Trump has mentioned the possibility of defeat for the second time in the last four days. Earlier, at an event hosted by the Israeli-American Council, he put the possible responsibility on American Jews and claimed: Do they know what will happen if I don’t win this election? And in case of such an event, the Jews are the main culprits because they voted for the enemy with 40% of their support, i.e. 60%!
Harris has surpassed Trump in the polls, and yesterday’s CBS poll shows that the vice president has 52 percent, ahead of Trump’s 48 percent.
