Erdoğan’s criticism of Israel’s crimes and warning of human catastrophe

These words of Erdoğan were presented in a meeting with representatives of some intellectual and public institutions in the United States, on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York. .
Erdogan stated that his country is closely following the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7.
He added that two-thirds of the civilians who lost their lives in the attacks of this regime were women and children, and the number of dead is more than 41,000.
Erdogan continued that a humanitarian disaster has occurred in Gaza and 1.9 million people have been displaced, and 70% of the water sources and 75% of the bakeries in this area have been destroyed; Also, 95 percent of health centers have been partially or completely damaged.
He also mentioned that the Zionist army partially destroyed 200,000 houses and 80,000 houses were rendered uninhabitable. Access to clean water has become almost impossible and diseases such as hepatitis and polio have reached a dangerous level.
Erdogan announced that Turkey’s priority is to guarantee a permanent ceasefire and the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
In another part of his speech, Erdogan addressed the fight against terrorism and said: “Our fight against terrorist groups is for the security of Turkey and the region.”
He added: “We support the territorial integrity of our neighbors, Syria and Iraq, and with all our strength against all the threats against our country from the territory of these countries. We will fight.”
