France called for a special meeting of the Security Council regarding the developments in Lebanon
reported by Mehr News Agency, news sources inform about France’s request to hold an emergency meeting in the Security Council in order to review the current developments in Lebanon.
Al Jazeera news network reported on Tuesday morning that “Jean Baro” French Foreign Minister said in a speech in response to the recent explosions in Lebanon that I have asked the Security Council to hold the above-mentioned meeting during this week. span style=”text-align:justify”>Extraordinary to be held in order to examine the current developments in Lebanon.
Jean Noel Barrow also in another part of his statement called for an immediate end to the exchange of fire on both sides of the border line known as the “blue line” between Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
He also called on the conflicting parties and their supporters to end the conflicts in Lebanon and asked the conflicting parties to avoid regional war, which is devastating for everyone, by adopting peace.
