Evacuation of US oil facilities in the Gulf of Mexico as a hurricane approaches

The wind speed of this storm will reach about 185 kilometers per hour by Thursday.
Accordingly, American oil companies have started the process of evacuating their facilities in the Gulf of Mexico from the presence of troops.
The American National Hurricane Center has also announced that this storm called “Helen” will have a high wind speed that can lead to property and life losses and northeast of the Gulf of Mexico and Covers the Florida area.
Oil companies such as Chevron, Shell, Equinor, and British Petroleum have also stopped a part of their oil production in this region in addition to draining their power.
For example, the British Petroleum Company has completely stopped oil and gas production in two of its facilities and reduced it in two other facilities. The Chevron company has also started to evacuate its forces in two oil facilities and has also stopped oil production.
At the time of the previous storm named Francine, about 30% of the oil production capacity in this region was completely shut down.
