Israel has violated Lebanon’s sovereignty/We welcome France’s proposal

The Prime Minister of the Lebanese government welcomed the French ceasefire plan in the emergency meeting of the Security Council on the issue of Lebanon, stating that his country has witnessed brutal attacks and repeated violations of territorial sovereignty by Israel.

According to Mehr News Agency to Quoting from Al-Mayadeen, Nahib Mikati, the Prime Minister of Lebanon, gave a speech at the extraordinary meeting of the Security Council on the issue of Lebanon, which was held at the request of France this morning.

Najib Mikati, referring to the extensive attacks of the Zionist regime on Lebanon, announced in a speech that Lebanon is witnessing a clear violation of human rights and a brutal attack by the Zionist regime.

In this meeting, the prime minister of advancing Lebanese affairs expressed his concern about the possibility of land attack by the occupiers on Lebanese soil after the explosion of electronic communication devices (pagers) by asking the international community to mobilize to expand the war.

He clarified that the current events in Lebanon are part of Israel’s aggressions and actions that violate international laws in Lebanon over the past decades

Miqati added that I have attended this meeting to demand that the members try to get out of this situation and that this council prepare a serious solution to stop Israel’s attacks on Lebanon and pressure Israel to stop attacks on all axes of the conflict.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister continued that the Lebanese government adheres to the UN resolutions regarding the border resolution 1701 and we seriously demand that this regime withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories.

At the end of his speech, he praised France’s initiative for a ceasefire and ending the war.
