According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Sputnik, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced this in a meeting with Brazil’s President’s advisor “Cilso Amorim” on the sidelines of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. that these countries, together with other countries from the southern hemisphere, plan to form a group called “Friends of Peace” to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
Chinese Foreign Minister said: In the near future, China, Brazil and other like-minded countries from the Southern Hemisphere will work on creating a “Friends of Peace” group regarding the Ukraine crisis. . This action is an effort by China, Brazil and the countries of the southern hemisphere to realize peace.
He clarified that this group will not be a limited and closed group, but an open group that will strive not for competition but for the development of inclusive dialogue.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also called the reason for establishing this group as a global need and emphasized that the international community should welcome it.
Wang Yi announced: The purpose of this group is to propose an objective and rational view and to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the Ukraine issue.
