The European Union holds an emergency meeting regarding the escalation of tensions in Lebanon
reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Jerusalem Post, Joseph Burrell, the European Union’s foreign policy official, says that the foreign ministers of the EU countries will hold an emergency meeting today regarding the escalation of tensions in Lebanon.
Borrell said that the informal emergency meeting will be held to discuss the EU’s response to the escalation of tensions between Israel and Lebanon.
Following the assassination and martyrdom of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah in the Zionist regime’s airstrikes against Beirut on Friday, tensions have intensified in the Middle East region.
Herzi Halevi, the commander of the joint staff of the Zionist regime army, previously referring to the assassination of the fighters and the leader of Hezbollah, by rejecting the requests to reduce tensions, intensified the attacks on Lebanon. He emphasized with the aim of weakening Hezbollah!
Previously, US President Joe Biden said about the possibility of an all-out war in the Middle East that “we must prevent it from happening and this action is necessary.”
