This American newspaper wrote: Washington believes that Israel’s war with Hamas and Hezbollah is “separable” and conflicts in Lebanon can curb Iran’s influence in the region, and the authorities The White House hopes so, but they are reluctant to publicly support Israel’s attacks on Lebanon because such an action may be met with a negative reaction, and as a result, Washington continues to make absurd claims about the need for caution and de-escalation.
Politico, quoting informed sources, announced that the Zionist regime “has chosen limited ground operations in Lebanon at the request of the United States.”
Clashes in the north of the occupied territories started in October last year, after the beginning of the Zionist regime’s invasion of the Gaza Strip. Lebanon’s Hezbollah, in support of the Palestinians, has emphasized that it will stop its attacks against the occupied territories on the condition that the war in this area stops.
