According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted the newspaper, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Washington’s refusal to condemn the Zionist regime’s ground attack on Lebanon in any form shows that America is an ally. It encourages itself to expand military operations in the region.
Lavrov stated: The use of almost routine methods of political assassination, as happened on July 31 in Tehran and on September 27 in Beirut, is cause for great concern. After Israel launched its ground attack on Lebanon on the night of October 1st, there was no reaction from the United States, and the American government did not condemn this hostile act against the sovereignty of a country, so Washington actually condemned its ally in the Middle East. It encourages the expansion of military operations in the region.
The head of the Russian diplomatic service said: The pager attack on Hezbollah officials is another clear example of using terrorist methods as a tool to achieve political goals.
He again called for an immediate investigation into this incident and added: It is unlikely that many media reports that the United States is involved or at least aware of this attack. He ignored the terrorist.
