White House: We are worried about the repetition of the events of January 6 in the American elections

The spokesman of the White House announced that Washington is worried about the repetition of the events of January 6, 2021 and the attack on the Capitol building in the upcoming presidential elections.

According to Mehr News Agency to Quoting from Russia Elium, “Karen Jean Pierre”, the spokesperson of the White House, answered reporters’ questions about possible threats to the 2024 US presidential election in his weekly press conference.

He added: “The upcoming elections will never be held in a peaceful atmosphere.”

The President of the United States earlier announced in a press conference that he is not sure that the upcoming November elections will be held “peacefully” and “I am sure that it will be held in an open space and It will be held fairly.. but I don’t know if it will be held peacefully or not.”

It should be said that the US presidential election will be held on November 5 next month with the competition between Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, and Donald Trump, the Republican opponent.
