Italian Defense Minister: Lebanon is not Afghanistan

The UN peacekeeper said: Lebanon is not Afghanistan, because it has traditions and culture that cannot be compared to Afghanistan.
In a press conference at the prime minister’s building of his country, following the firing by the occupying army of Quds on UNIFIL positions, the Italian defense minister added: Beirut is a city where different cultures and religions coexist.
He added: Lebanon’s problem is that it has accepted 2 million refugees; A proportion of refugees compared to the population of no other country in the world. In recent years, we have pretended not to notice this. But so far, Lebanon has maintained its balance.
The Zionist Radio and Television Organization announced yesterday that Italy will send its ambassador to Rome following the wounding of an Italian soldier who is a member of the United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL). In the attack of the occupying forces, he summoned the headquarters of these forces.
The Minister of Defense of Italy also stated that he has delivered the note of protest to his Israeli counterpart and the ambassador of this regime in Rome, and emphasized: shooting at UN forces in Lebanon is unacceptable and against It is international law. The attack on UNIFIL forces was not an accident or a mistake, and the Israeli ambassador could not explain the reason for this action.
