According to Mehr News Agency, the Indian media announced by publishing images 19 people were injured after a passenger train and a freight train collided and at least 12 wagons derailed.
As the “Hindustan Times” website reported, this passenger train, which was moving at a speed of 75 km per hour, collided with a freight train near the city of Chennai, the center of Tamil Nadu; In this incident, an electric car also caught fire.
“T. Prabhushankar” from Tiruvallur district officials announced that there were 1,360 passengers in this train and 19 passengers were injured, four of them are in serious condition. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital. So far, no casualties have been reported.
Investigations about the cause of this accident have been started, and following this incident, eighteen scheduled trains on October 12 were canceled.
